Well, last week a skunk wandered into the barn, perfuming the barn as well as ALL of my dairy goats in milk. After much work and frustration I'm in the process of drying them all up for the season. The disappointment and loss is pretty overwhelming. Leaving the barn last night after milking (in my multi layer hazmat suit) I was greeted by this beautiful sunset. It's like a gift, a splendid sight to surprise all of the heartache out of me. ❤️

2 doses, 3 kids. These first fresheners kid within minutes of each other and both went out in the dust to do it 🤦‍♀️
I'm glad everyone is settled for the night.
