Meet the newest member of Ford Acres —Madilyn, who officially joined the herd on January 31st. We’ve been busy on the farm meeting the chickens and Highland cows, and it’s safe to say she fits right in already. 🐮🐔

As we move into this busy spring season, we’ll be pausing farm visits for a bit so we can focus on the farm and prepare for the year ahead (and hopefully something new coming soon 👀). All but one of our calves have went to their new farms and we’re excited for the families who have welcomed them to their farms!

We do still have one bull calf available, so if you’ve been thinking about adding a Highland to your herd, feel free to reach out. Teddy is such a good boy, we’d love for you to meet him!

For now, we’re soaking up this sweet season of life, enjoying time with our newest little farm girl, and getting everything ready for the months ahead here at Ford Acres.

Everyone’s fed, watered, and fluffier than ever.

Did you know? Highland cows are true cold-weather pros — their double coats let snow sit on their hair instead of melting, keeping them warm and insulated.

They’re perfectly content being outside… and yes, they’re probably judging us for needing extra layers 😌🐮❄️

Biggest shout out to Farmer Greg for keeping them fed, ice busted, and doing everything he can to keep them safe!

Just a little glimpse of our WARM December week ☀️ Cows are fed, fences are worked on, chicken coop is fresh, and most importantly, the gang is all back together and all the animals are ready for what the rest of winter has to bring us 🐮 🐓
