I can’t believe another market season is already here, but it is!

Come on down to Century Bank Park in downtown Lawrenceburg for the season opener of our farmers market! Lots of great vendors, Bestie’s Biscuit Wagon food truck, a special guest (Miss KY!), and more.

Yesterday our flowers, along with 3 other central KY farms, were presented in the winner’s bouquet for Thurby. 🐎😍

Man, talk about an emotional moment.

I am continually in awe of the places and events that our flowers have found their way to over the years, but I have to say that this one tops them all so far.

KY Proud, you guys outdid yourselves with this one! Thank you for advocating, uplifting, and making KY small farms known and seen as a part of this year’s Derby celebrations!

I’ve been hating on butterfly ranunculus for a couple years. The corms are very expensive, they can be finicky, aphids love them, they take up a lot of high tunnel space, and sometimes they just look “old” (even though this glossy antiqued look is the way many varieties are supposed to look!).

BUT, our wholesale customers LOVE them, they are super trendy in the wedding and event design world, and I think they might be starting to grow on me a little more every season 🤭 Give the people what they want, right?!
