Iā€™ve been slacking on walking, but in my defense the weather has been straight crap most days. I finally got tonight and was rewarded with this deer šŸ¦Œ crossing the road. At first I thought it was the calf thatā€™s in the pasture so I stopped to see why he was alone. Then I realized what it was and stood so still so I didnā€™t scare it.

Canā€™t believe Jack has now been here for about 2 1/2 months. He was nothing but skin and bones and now sports a nice fat belly.
