David Meier began working in his early teens, he operated a pressure washing service, learned the art of welding, later he worked in corporate America. David's career paths have provided him the skills and financial resources necessary to undertake a once in a lifetime opportunity, breathing life back into the former Old Crow Distillery property as Glenns Creek Distillery in Woodford county, Kentu

cky. Dave has a hands on vision for a blue collar working craft distillery which will produce a collection of white collar taste distilled beverages. Join David and his team as we begin on this journey of restoration! Each return visit to Glenns Creek Distillery will reveal historical artifacts, new improvements to structures and beautification of the sprawling property. Once a year, once every 6 months, once a month each visit will be inspiring.

Are any of you attending the Kentucky Bourbon Festival? If so, we will have some hand filtered of all the barrels BUT the special ones will be hand filtered OCD #5 and Flippin' The Bird. We normally reserve that for the Premium, but SOMEONE (Blanky) pressed me to have something special for KBF release only. Make sure you stop by and discretely ask for the hand filtered version. We also will have HF of Cafe Ole, Swheat, C.O.B. and RW Infinity. These bottles are mainly for our regular customers as there will be no tasting bottles. IYKYK

What's new at Glenns Creek you ask? Well, our newest bourbon is officially for sale. B.O.B. better known as Best Oated Bourbon is available now. This is barrel 1 and it is 106.8 proof and 32 months old. The oats give this a nice creamy mouth feel. I have been looking forward to this one and now it is here. Get it now. This one will go fast.

With the moon almost full it was bright coming up over the hill last night. It was so bright that I got a few pictures of the evening primrose.

There is a rather large spider that has made a web high enough that it won't catch me in the face. Can you imagine running into this web in the dark and that monster spider crawling all over you? I'm not afraid of spiders, but that would be creepy. The web is a work of art though.

This might be one of the last signed barrels we did in 2020. If you were here during this time and signed this barrel you can order a bottle at the link below and we will hold it until you can come to pick it up. It was filled between 6/18/2020 and 7/27/2020.
Make sure you specify this barrel in your order "Bottle from the barrel filled between 6/18/2020 and 7/27/2020"
This barrel is being bottled for the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, so if you want a bottle, please order ASAP.

One of the jumping spiders that Emma named Tim turned out to be a female, and she had a whole batch of babies. As spiders go, I prefer the jumpers because they do not make webs that get in my face.
