Our farewell post is a little late this year but as you can imagine life has been revolving around our little Callahan. Everything about the stand was so uncertain this year with Carley being VERY pregnant. But Carley worked and carried hundreds of watermelon just like she always has. What a trooper.
If you’ve ever been to our stand you would notice a sign above our doorway that says “family”. A good customer of ours bought us that sign years ago because he believed this stand and the people who came to enjoy shooting the breeze were truly family. Many of you know Sam, he was even in Carley’s wedding last fall. That sign has been there for years now but this year it felt a little different with Carley starting her own family. Many of you even bought her gifts and some even adopting the title Grandma/Grandpa or Aunt/Uncle which we love so much. You know Christ talks about us being adopted into the family of God and the stand has been the most perfect image of that. Every year God reveals someone to us who the stand has blessed immensely. We want you to know that each of you are a blessing to us and you are the reason why we keep opening the stand year after year. Next year, who knows what the stand is going to look like with little Callahan. We’ll just be prayerful that God provides us a way.
Thank you all from the depths of our hearts for such a wonderful and blessed season. And thank you for being apart our family, we love and appreciate you all very much. See you all next summer
