Edwards Farms Family Farm

08/13/2025

We are taking a leap and selling our home, farm, and private oasis we have been blessed with for 5 years. Anyone who knows me and this place knows that is has my blood sweat and tears poured into every corner of it and this will probably shock many people who have been here and know what a peaceful destination it truly is to visit or have a homestead. We have pursued another opportunity that will better suit our family needs in the future and be a slight health relief for me and allow us all more time together.
This place is not an easy one to mentally process letting go of because I know it's irreplaceable in many areas and features, my stamina isn't what it was and it's honestly taken a toll staying so spread thin. This will be the 2nd once in a lifetime farm I'd walk away from and could write a book on this one especially. It's deep in character, purposefully designed to be as diverse as possible and allow for family fun, outdoor recreation, farming/livestock, and more while not interfering with each other. You can feed and do chores and 5 minutes later shoot a 150" deer or have turkeys/deer walk by you like it's a zoo (Cades Cove feel).
It's tought me the meaning of stewardship and maximizing resources while increasing my patience and allowed me to realize just how small we are in the grand scheme of things. We are truly a blip in time and finding continual native artifacts from modern era to thousands and thousands years old will put it into perspective how much of a blessing it is to be one of the thousands of stewards that have prospered here and left it better than we found it. It's been a fun challenge to tame it from truly raw land to what it is now. It could check just about any box someone would want when looking for land and I'm a land man at heart do I realize this as much as anyone.
It's been a blessing and I'll always be grateful for the time getting to pass through here whether it sells or not.

I'll post a video in the comments of how raw it was prior to our storm of dreams and working for 5 years straight took it over. We vouldnt have done it without the Lords protection and help in decisions along the way that I am only now realizing.
If you know of anyone who would be interested in owning and being a part of history of this place please share with them.
Thanks everyone!
