I care for all of my chickens myself, feeding, watering, collecting eggs, and managing my different breeds.Currently I have 75 chickens/chicks. My goal is to provide my neighbors, friends, and community with farm fresh, natural eggs. I am not certified as organic, but I am a natural chicken keeper. My chickens are fed a compl
ete chicken feed for health, but are allowed to free range. They are loving and well loved. Their favorite treats are Raisins and Meal Worms and they will perform for them! :-D The smaller breeds are kept in mobile chicken coops, called chicken tractors. This is for their protection from predators. Every day I pull the coop to a new spot so they have fresh, clean grass. Each tractor also has roosting bars and nesting boxes.Currently, I am raising new breeds with the intention of being a breeder and selling purebred chicks.
