Rosemont Cattle and Cutting Horses Cutting Horses Rosemont Cattle Company was formed shortly after the establishment of Rosemont Farm in 1994.

Founded by suburbanites David and Lisa Barr, the farm is located 66 miles southwest of Atlanta, Georgia. Still known by locals as "the old Carey Walls place", the Wall's family tilled the farm for cotton for many years, many of whom rest in a family cemetery a few miles away. Operating as an Angus seedstock producer for 10 years, the farm retooled in 2004 as a passion grew for cutting horses. Afte

r seven years of raising colts and shipping young horses out to professional trainers, the decision was made to build a facility, hire a professional staff and train on the farm. The training program benefits from a year-round heifer development operation starting with six-weight, pre-conditioned young cows, grown out for approximately 100 days and then advanced to feedlots or the replacement female market. The program centers around good people, good horses and good cattle.
