Robert set a time with me and bought his new sirloin beef for a special this weekend! We could not be more proud to be on the menu! Our farm is looking forward to supporting local businesses as they support others! Eating lunch here and off to market more beef! Beef. It's What's For Dinner. He has our honey also. Isn't he sweet? Beekeeping lessons sometimes come with a learning curve. I will use a veil every time I deal with bees from now on. Ask me why honey is expensive. My eye is fine and yes it hurts. I chose to be happy and pass this lesson on. Bees are great teachers but have a unique style.

The Store is not complete. We have functional freezers, a payment system, two beef in for processing and a high degree of motivation. USDA beef will hit the freezers in about 18 days. We will have most cuts and beef bacon. 1 pound chubs are going to be available along with eggs, honey and all from right here on our small farm. We may be the smallest but we want to give the community good natural grass fed beef, raw honey and fresh eggs that you can see where they came from each day. The processing takes time and aging is important to the meat. Be patient and message the farm with your requests. The price list is pending as processing costs are a factor. They will be absolutely fair and we are not trying to get rich. We want to be your go to for great local foods we produce!

The sunset and fireworks around the farm are beautiful, and our ability to enjoy them is thanks to those who were willing to die for it. Our family has been involved in every major conflict and war since they began, both here and abroad. Enjoy this day, and remember that freedom is not free. Happy Independence Day!

54 grape vines planted for 4 varieties of wine in the future. Table grapes are coming along well and we are hopeful! Check out the planting day we had on the farm!

The bees work hard for the food they need! Two pounds of honey and a bee would almost be on the surface of the moon. I respect these ladies and I hope you have a chance to sample the fruits of their labor this year!

Liquid Gold arrival imminent! Initial harvest yielded outstanding local honey, packaged in popular 13.5oz glass containers. One of two certified honey production facilities in Simpson County. Stay tuned for large-scale production dates; updated labels with accurate weights coming soon. We are making comb in products this year by request!

I am trying this out this year. We do not use pesticides or and chemical fertilizer beyond composted materials. A natural technique to augment the pest prevention is always a plus! We found a praying mantis egg neat and have them in a large aquarium. We hope to release them in the garden area soon.

Jenna and I went out in response to a call about a swarm of bees. We geared up and removed them yesterday and made them a home in a brand new hive on the farm.

The Wine grapes are going in the ground today! It is hot but you can water your way around heat issues. #kyproud #winerylife

The Apiary is alive and very well! A new bee season with fresh local honey will be coming again this year. We hope to have a great hive year!

The kennel operations are being expanded to make room for smaller animals! We will be taking vacation requests for this year beginning April 6th! 40$ per day with a play area, walks, camera access to your pet and more! We look forward to booking your peace of mind fur baby vacation! Look for the announcement of the reservations being available!

Christmas time is coming up! We celebrated a family birthday with a nice lunch out. We love the holidays! Fresh beef is on schedule for January!

The Elves are helping with dogs, dishes and dinner. I am thankful for these cute little elves but they are getting so big!

I went to get a tranquil video of sunset and the donkey saw me coming. Tranquility has a donkey included for us most days. She is a loving donkey and hugs well.

Born today in the big red barn! We have a Hereford Holstein mix it appears?? Heifer calf born on video we hope! The camera is pointed where the placenta is laying and the cameras record 24/7. We have fingers crossed!
