Was a busy weekend in Liberty, KY had the BPWHA Championship show and The Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund Championship show. This is always the shows I have to miss and I thank everyone for pitching in and helping out as they had some very close and back to back classes.
*Sir Grey Hawk and Jordan Wrenn had great showings taking a 1st on Saturday and a 1st on Sunday in Trail Pleasure classes, along with a 4th in Model on Saturday, all for owner Meredith Thessen.
*I'm MidKnight Magic made two great shows taking a 3rd on Saturday and a 2nd on Sunday in 5 and under trail pleasure classes (as a 2yr old)with Jason, for owners Michael and JoEllen Finerfrock.
*Knight Time Magic was another 2 yr old that went against all age horses in flat shod walking specialty classes and came out with a 2nd on Saturday and a 3rd on Sunday with Jason, for owners Ronald and Debbie Smothers.
*A Knightime Thriller made good shows in tough classes taking a 2nd on Saturday and a 2nd on Sunday with Jason in 5 and under country pleasure classes and a 5th with Kinsley Chandler in Youth Country Pleasure, for owner Janice Bennett.
*Commanding The Knight made 2 good showings in 5 and under lite shod taking a 2nd on Saturday and a 3rd on Sunday with Jason, for owners Lanny and Megan Finley and family.
*Knight's Undercover Angel had two solid rides with JoEllen Finerfrock. Neither day had five and under ADP classes so the 3 year old had to go in all age Amateur All Day Pleasure and came out with a 5th on Saturday and a 3rd on Sunday, for owners Michael and JoEllen Finerfrock.
*Ch*****ne Kinda Knight went in Youth Lite Shod and Open Lite Shod (she is something going in lite shod classes in a keg shoe)with Kinsley Chandler and came out with a 3rd on Saturday and a 5th on Sunday for owners Jeffrey and Shannon Schnell and family.
* Walkin Amighty Fine Line went innthe ring with Jason in Open Country Pleasure and took a 4th on Saturday and then in Youth All Day Pleasure with Kinsley Chandler and took a 3rd for owner Tiffany Crawhorn. This boy is looking for a new home and has a post up on our page.
*Drop Of Magic, the racking mare, did her "fake walk" to get her points taking a 3rd on Saturday and a 4th on Sunday with Jordan Wrenn for owners John and Nettie Lay
*ToKnight's The Knight and Jordan Wrenn placed 10th in a large trail obstacle class on Saturday. Then went into a class to get their points on Sunday and came out with a 3rd for owner, Tiffany Crawhorn.
*Knight's Ghost Rider attempted trail obstacle on Saturday and then went in Open Country Pleasure on Sunday and placed 5th all with Jordan Wrenn for owner Mia Finley (and Lanny and Megan) .
*Classic Metallica and Kinsley Chandler got 5th in English Country Pleasure on Sunday for owner, Tiffany Crawhorn.
* We also want to Congratulate JoEllen Finerfrock and her AOT horse Knight Commander taking a 4th in Country Pleasure AOT in their very first show together.
Thank you everyone for a great show and all your help. Sunday they had 13 horses in 22 classes and they got them in and out could not have done it without the extra hands!

The Darkest Knight. 2 year old gelding (he is getting ready to turn 3 this fall) . Registered TWH. 15 hands tall. This boy has the best head on his shoulders, we have 2 other videos and post of him on our J&T Stables page, one with him doing obstacles and one of him on the trails, showing crossing logs, going into the creek and up and down steep banks. Now here he is with a 13 year old youth rider on him, who had never rode him before! He is an attractive horse that has a calm and willing mind, always ready to learn new things. This one is the kind of horse everyone is usually looking for. He has years to be your trail or show partner with the mind of one much older. Located in Franklin, KY. Since we posted this, we realized a fat supplement we had him on, said high energy, so last week we took him off that to see if it helps his issuea. Walkin' Amighty Fine Line. 5 year old Registered TWH gelding. 15.1 hands. He can be seen at the Liberty, KY show this weekend. I bought this horse for a lesson horse and to give lessons a chance to show a more competitive horse. He was shown by an older lady when I got him. We have learned at shows with kids, he will be going into the ring and before he gets there wants to duck his shoulder and then try to turn away. At the barn in our indoor arena he has had kids on him and was great, but I am taking a loss and selling him because he is not the horse I need for kids to show. We have had him out on the trails 3 times, so it's new to him. When he was in the lead (is willing to walk on a loose rein when in the lead) he was fine. He crossed logs and went in the creek. The next ride he ended up being in the back and got pushy when corrected he got upset. Next ride back in the lead and was calm. If he does come across something on the trail he doesn't want to do, he has tried to drop his shoulder and turn. He has hopped up on the trail, but not high. If all is going his way he is great, he is not mean and has never seen him offered to buck. This horse needs an adult and I think would do great for someone who would take him on an all day trail ride or weekend ride to get him settled in to the trails, the times he has been out had been for about 30 minutes each time here. I did put him in the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund for show, so he can earn money back showing in KY. He has a very natural gait and walks and shakes, but he is not going to work out as a lesson horse for me. I am going to take a loss on him from what I paid for him, but he is not what I need. He also has a cloudy eye, but had been checked by a vet (Dr Woodall in Russellville, KY and he said he at some point had a trauma to his eye, but has caused no issue besides being cloudy as long as he never has another trauma to it. Had a great week at the NWHA Nationals last week. We thank those that were there for all your help and missed those that couldn't be with us!
Drop Of Magic had a fantastic week showing four times and coming out with four 1st. 1st with Jason in Country Racking open and 1st in the Country Racking Grand Championship. She also took 1st with Kinsley Chandler in Country Racking amateur and 1st in Youth Racking all divisions. All for owners John and Nettie Lay .
I'm MidKnight Magic made her show ring debut this week. We were proud of her and can't wait to see this 2 year old keep developing. She was 4th with Jason in 2&3 yr old trail pleasure open. 4th with JoEllen Finerfrock in 2&3 year old trail pleasure amateur (2nd time JoEllen had ever rode the mare) and 4th with Jason in the 2 year old trail pleasure open, for owners Michael and JoEllen Finerfrock
Tea Rex RLT had some big classes and made great solid shows playing 8th with Jason in the All Day Pleasure Open Western. He also took a 10th with Tami Steinbrecher in the All Day Pleasure English amateur for owners Wallace and Tami Steinbrecher.
Thank you everyone that works to put on the Nationals, was great seeing so many friends!

The Darkest Knight. Registered TWH, 2 year old gelding, 15 hands. This guy has shown he is going to make an excellent horse for someone. He is smart and willing to learn. This was his first time on the trails, and shows how great this one is going to be. He was cautious with new things like crossing logs and going in the creek but would look and then go, really shows his willing and calm mind. We also have another video posted on our J&T page with him doing obstacles, hes so smart, especially for his age. This one has lots of potential to go a lot of different ways with trail obstacle, trail riding and more. Message us with any questions

So it's time I get caught up on my posting!. We have thought we had 2 shows after Internationals and they both got canceled, one due to rain and one due to predicted 109 heat index. We were at the WHOA International Grand Championship show from July 16th to July 25th. It was a hot week, but we had a great time spending time with customers and were happy with our our horses. * Drop Of Magic had a great show taking two Reserve Championships with Kinsley Chandler. Drop Of Magic also took two 3rds with Jason Crawhorn and had two fabulous rides, for owners John and Nettie Lay. *Commanding The Knight had some nice rides taking a 4th and a 5th with Kinsley Chandler. He also took a 4th and a 5th with Jason for owners Lanny and Megan Finley and family. *A Knightime Thriller thrilled the crowd again, we thank you for the MANY kind comments on him. He had a fabulous class that we did not think he got placed in but found out due to a computer glith he had gotten 10th and tied for 9th in a nice large 3 year old class, he ended up placing 10th in that class with Jason. He also received an 8th with Jason and two 9ths with Kinsley Chandler. *Knight Time Magic made her show ring debut in the Maiden and we were so proud of how this 2 yr old filly went in the ring and performed and acted like she had been doing it all her life. She has a bright future ahead of her! We thank everyone for the nice comments on her. She is owned by Ronald and Debbie Smothers. *Tami Steinbrecher got to show her gelding Tea Rex RLT in his first rail classes at the Internationals and he had 2 great rides but was unlucky to be in two huge ADP classes, so he did not place, but we were so proud of how he handled the ring and being in classes with that much traffic. *We also want to thank Maggie Moore, Ashlyn Avent, Carol Lamberson and Claire Hankins Kincaid for riding in the Get Of Sire class, hopefully next year can be planned a little better so it's not 4 against 9 but it was a fun class and we appreciate each one of you riding to represent Excalibur's Dark Knight. We appreciate all our customers and thank all those that helped in any way at the show.
