🇺🇸 Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm 🇺🇸

Join Friends of Franklin Parks and the City of Franklin on July 4th for an unforgettable evening of live music, great food, family activities, and one of Middle Tennessee's premier fireworks displays. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. at the Tractor Supply Co. Arena, with students from School of Rock Franklin kicking off the festivities from 5:00–6:30 p.m., followed by Nashville's own Hippies and Cowboys at 7:00 p.m.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and family for a fun-filled evening featuring local food vendors, family games, and community celebration before the enhanced fireworks show begins around 9:00 p.m. in honor of America's 250th Anniversary.

Friends of Franklin Parks is grateful for the generous sponsors helping make this free community celebration possible. Jackson Financial Inc. serves as the Presenting Sponsor, with TruGreen as the Stage Sponsor. Sparkler Sponsors include Berry Farms – A Boyle Development, FirstBank, City of Franklin Parks Department, Medical House Calls, 107.5 The River, Bike Walk Franklin, Bradymade, and Kiser Vogrin Design.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase for guests 21 and older with a valid government-issued photo ID. Every beverage purchased helps support Friends of Franklin Parks and our mission to preserve cultural and natural resources, enhance park and trail experiences, and expand Franklin's parks and open spaces for future generations.

We look forward to celebrating with you at one of Franklin's favorite summer traditions!

Friends of Franklin Parks joins the Hayes and Neiland families in mourning the loss of Mary Etta Hayes Neiland, whose life was deeply connected to the history of Harlinsdale Farm.

Mary Etta moved to Franklin in 1936 when her parents, Harlin and Maurie Hayes, relocated to Harlinsdale Farm. She spent her childhood in the Hayes House, growing up among the people, horses, and traditions that shaped one of Tennessee's most historic farms.

Throughout her life, Mary Etta remained a dedicated educator, community leader, and woman of faith, touching countless lives through her work and service.

Friends of Franklin Parks is honored to have restored the Hayes House and to share the story of the Hayes family with visitors each year. Mary Etta's memories and experiences helped preserve an important chapter of Harlinsdale's history, and her legacy will continue to inspire future generations who walk through the home where her story began.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Neiland and Hayes families.
