Pin Oak Growers Wagerman Familie Hühnerfarm und Gemüsegarten Pin Oak Growers is a fifth generation, family owned and operated, farm located in Johnson County Indiana.

Our goal is to excel in and promote self sufficient farming and local agriculture. In the past three years we've raised chickens, rabbits, ducks and turkeys and are considering venturing into large livestock such as goats, pigs and cattle. This past year we have built a 13' x 50' hoop house to be a transition point between our indoor hydroponic/grow light equipment and our large row garden. This i

s our first year with the hydroponics and it has been a great learning experience and an even greater jump start to our planting season. We grow all of our own herbs and the majority of all of our own vegetables and fruits.

Great way to end the work day now that we have later daylight and warmer days!

With the cold and rain, I wasn’t able to get supers (honey boxes) put on yet. But today, they’re all on! I had 79% overall winter survival but ✨100%✨ survival of all the established colonies I had going into winter. With the nationwide losses of millions of colonies, I’m calling that a WIN!
