Aunt Mob’s Sweet Shop may be just a little something I do on the side, but behind the name is a story that means the world to me. ❤️

When my nephew Aaron first started talking, he couldn’t say my real name. Somehow, “Mob” is what came out… and from that day on, I became Aunt Mob. 💕

As he got older, birthdays became our thing. Every year, I’d make his birthday cake and ask, “What theme do you want this year, Bubba Joe?” (Not his real name 😂). Those cakes became more than just desserts—they became memories I’ll always hold close to my heart.

Before long, the name stuck. Family, friends, and pretty much anyone who knew Bubba Joe also knew me as Aunt Mob.

Now, he did tell me when he turned 14 he was going to start calling me by my real name… bless his heart, that never happened. 😂 And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So while Aunt Mob’s Sweet Shop is where I make sweet treats, the name itself was built from love, family, laughter, and some of my favorite memories. ❤️

And no matter what… I’ll always be Aunt Mob. 🧁

Aunt Mob’s has been busy in the kitchen today! 🍫🍦
Our confetti cakesicles are giving all the ice cream cone vibes, and the chocolate cakesicles are looking just like little Hostess cupcakes! 😍

Tomorrow we’ll be starting on our cookie truffles, so stay tuned for more sweet treats! 💕

Aunt Mob’s Sweet Shop will be baking up a storm this week! 🍫🩵
Be sure to keep an eye out because I’ll definitely be posting pictures! We’ll be making chocolate and confetti cakesicles, along with cookie dough, blueberry, and Oreo Reese cookie truffles. Depending on my work schedule, I may even whip up a few extra sweet treats too! Stay tuned! 🍪✨

I am delighted with how these cakesicles turned out. They were a huge success and people said they were too pretty to eat.

Aunt Mob’s Sweet Shop has had a truly uplifting Cakesicles week. From Stitch (2 different orders) to making some for Purple and Pink birthday and then my favorite a Blue and White marble with a splash of silver for teachers and staff at GCA. It’s definitely been thrilling designing them and coming up with creative ideas. This “Love is Brewing” bridal shower theme was such a fun order to create! ☕️🤍 From the coffee-inspired details to the realistic coffee bean designs, everything came together beautifully for this special celebration.

These treats turned out amazing, and the photos truly don’t capture all the detail and creativity that went into them. A perfect setup for a coffee-themed bridal shower celebrating love, laughter, and happily ever after! ✨
