Why Alpines? We get asked frequently why we choose to specialize in Alpines for our dairy herd.

While Alpines may not always rank #1 in any single production category, they consistently perform well across the board. They offer a balanced combination of high milk production, butterfat, protein, confirmation, and overall hardiness that fits our goals.

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work with four other dairy goat breeds. Through that experience, we've always favored our Alpines. Besides their balanced milk composition, they are extremely disease resistant, adapt well to different climates, and have a docile, low-key temperament.

For our farm and its goals, Alpines provide the balance, consistency, and temperament we're looking for, and that's why they'll remain the foundation of our dairy herd for years to come!
