Today’s harvest. We had some of the beans for supper, yum! The rest we will blanch and freeze to enjoy this winter. The tomatoes will go in the freezer to make sauce later. And of course we eat plenty fresh.

This weekends preserving project black currants. First I harvested 6 cups from our 3 bushes. Then I made currant juice which we will use to flavor our kumbucha, seltzer or cocktails. I had enough currants left to make an infused gin.
