Little Bent Farm is a small scale farm using sustainable growing practices to produce quality fruits, vegetables, herbs, fresh eggs & fresh cut flowers.

Though we are not USDA certified organic, we grow using sustainable and ecologically responsible growing practices. We do not apply pesticides prophylacticly and only use OMRI approved products. We utilize integrated pest management practices, careful cultivar selection, companion planting and beneficial insects to assist us to work with Mother Nature rather than against her. We feel this more nat

ural approach to growing food results in a superior product, free of chemicals that is better for our bodies as well as our environment.

Our Story

We are a diversified micro farm growing year round in unheated high tunnels and seasonal field production. Our mission is to produce food in an ecologically responsible manner, provide our community with the opportunity to purchase local produce grown in a sustainable manner at a price that is affordable, while raising awareness about the benefits of locally grown food.

We specialize in growing gourmet lettuces, specialty greens, seasonal vegetables, herbs and cut flowers. We harvest when the crops are at their peak to offer our customers unparalleled flavor, quality and freshness. Our flock of pastured hens free range and produce the most delicious farm fresh eggs we've ever eaten, but we may be a little biased. The chickens diet is supplemented by feed sourced from a local mill, it is Non-GMO and does not contain any hormones or antibiotics.
