Crocker Farm Winery is the first bonded winery to open in South Central Kentucky since Prohibition. Our two acre vineyard is very productive. Year after year we sell most of the grapes to commercial and home winemakers because our tanks cannot hold that much fruit. The bulk of the vines are just over a decade old. Crocker Farm Winery was constructed in 2009. Wine making methods are Old World style. We use gravity flow to move the wine. Wine quality is improving every year.

Roni and I are touring France wine production via the Rhone river…on viking. My Dad took a trip through this reguon when he was 18…1944(WW2). Our conditions are much better…missed a connecting flight and then we did not count on the strikes. All stories about the French and the wine are true. Good food and culture. People dress well. And great wines are produced on hillside vineyards. A great mass of white, red and rose’ is being produced in the southern Rhone and as you go north they get better and better…but more expensive. Hills of Chatenuf du Pape, le Hermatage, Cote de Rotie here. Also Cru wines of beujolais are very special. Next hills come tomorrow…we tour cote de Or from Dijon. Will be home soon…a little homesick… but…We are in France😊d
