Shed repurpose #5 - We built this shed out of reclaimed materials in 2017. It is on skids so we can move it, but I don't think it has moved yet. It has housed pigs, ducks and rabbits in its nine years of life. After a long winter of too cold for the drill, frozen wood and too cold for the saw to work, today it got a half reclaimed, half new floor. Once the snow melts off the salvaged tin we will critter proof it and it will become our bigger chicken coop - one with a door big enough to drive the tractor up to to clean it out and large enough to accommodate my chicken math - 100, 120, maybe 110 - not so sure... The old chicken coop will become our pullet grow out space and the old pullet grow out space will be deconstructed and the parts will become something new to us in the future. "Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without!"

Two weeks ago when you were here getting your tree, you lost this bottle in the field - One of our customers found it this morning. When it thaws I will wash it. We will hold onto it if you would like it back!

We are open with plenty of trees from 4 - 24 feet. They are a little on the wilder side - all of the perfect, upside down ice cream cone trees have been harvested this year. We have a couple of pre-cuts left and a few wreaths.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday December 12, 13 and 14th, the farm will be open for choose and cut trees from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Harold has been invited with his scout troop for the privilege of laying wreaths on the graves of our veterans at Arlington Nation Cemetery on Saturday so Mom will not be able to answer any online messages. Dad will be manning the farm and will be answering the phone - be patient with him! If the weather is poor, please plan on good tires, AWD or 4WD to come down the driveway. Still plenty of great trees left in the fields!

Fellow farmers - do you have goats? do they like evergreens? We have brush for you! We have never sprayed an ounce of insecticide nor applied anything other than animal (mostly chicken, some rabbit) generated fertilizer on these greens since they were planted 8-15 years ago. We currently have 2 - 3 full sized pick up loads full of freshly cut stumps/greens. We have 5 - 10 full sized pick up loads of greens that have been harvested since November 1st. After we start clearing out the fields tomorrow we will have more. If you have goats and some hands to help you load - please come and get some - for FREE! If you need more and want to bring a chainsaw and cut down leftover stumps - help yourself!! Picture was what I started to make wreaths from - you may get tops, stumps, but MORE than enough green! As long as this post is up, we have fresh greens for you.

12/6/25 - Snow flurries this afternoon are making it very festive to pick out your tree. Please have snow tires, AWD or 4WD when coming down the driveway! And dress for the weather - boots and gloves recommended!

Trees $45 up to 8 feet and $55 for anything taller.
