Let me start by being very clear, THIS RECALL IS NOT HEARTLAND CHIA. Attached is a link to the recall of 8-ounce Navitas Organic’s chia seed pouches due to a potential Salmonella contamination. The most common question we get from consumers is “Why?”. Why U.S. grown? Why a more expensive product? Why Heartland Chia? This is our why.
