It’s raining now and the unpredictability of rain this afternoon always leaves us in a quandary. But frankly, we could also use this Sunday afternoon to recharge and relax - between trying to get multiple row crops out of the field, setting up for Homegrown Harvest Festival held at GHF and getting ready to open the pumpkin patch - there have been some long hours!

A little misty rain shouldn’t stop a perfect fall day at Goose Hill Farm!

Come spend the day at the patch, wander through the corn maze, and pick out the perfect pumpkins to decorate your porch. We have plenty of pre-picked pumpkins ready to grab and go — big, small, classic and perfectly imperfect.

While you’re here, stop by and learn more about Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the wonderful work they’re doing to get books into the hands of young children in our community.

A little mist, pumpkins, fresh air and porch swing weather — sounds like fall to us.

Come visit the patch today, have your picture taken with Davis our pumpkin man, find your way out of the corn maze, play some games and stop by Mary Bradshaw’s table to sign your kids up for free books through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (9-noon). It’s a great day to be outside.
