Three years with our farmstand. I remember telling Bruce my vision and he had it built within the night! We had gone on a trip out west and saw a honor system firewood stand on the side of the road. Right then my wheels started turning. 😉
The first year started out as an overflow of produce from our garden, eggs from our chickens & flowers from the little patches I had planted. I snagged some canned goods from one of our Amish friends down in Ethridge and started the stand.
Since then I have learned to can some myself, expanded our garden each year, I bake for the stand now & do pre-orders along with so many other things I have since learned. Everything I sell is made in house or grown from our own farm. Our honey comes from my dad’s farm. We got our own bees this year though, so fingers crossed we will be selling our own honey in the future.
Anytime I do partnerships I like to shout out who I am working with! There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes and it’s a blessing to be able to partner with other farmers and homemakers on occasion.
It has been such a fun journey and I am so grateful for everyone who has supported me and the stand the last 3 years! Thank you guys.
