🇺🇸❤️ Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day deeply rooted in Texas history.

On June 19, 1865, in Galveston, Union General Gordon Granger arrived and announced that enslaved people in Texas were free—more than two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.

Because of this historic moment, Texas became the birthplace of what we now celebrate as Juneteenth, a day recognizing freedom, resilience, hope, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

As a Texas business, we’re grateful for the opportunity to reflect on our state’s history and celebrate the freedom that allows communities like ours to gather, grow, and thrive together.

Today, we remember, we learn, and we celebrate.
