Little Suzy went missing a few weeks ago. I thought she was gone ☠️ the little bantams love flying and going all over the property. I thought something must have gotten her. The other morning I was doing my bird chores and she came flying over the fence. She was fluffed out and acting like a broody mama. She ate and drank and flew back over so I watched were she went. Under our covered stacked wood for the fire pit. We got her out last evening. She was sitting on 12 eggs. So I’m not sure if any are even fertilized 🤷‍♀️ we will see. She was moved into the broody/chick coop. I didn’t want any more chickens this year. We have so many. Could I have just gotten rid of them?yes, but I felt bad she was so determined to have her chicks 🐣 so depending on how many if any hatch I will be giving some away. My luck they will be all roosters 🐓
