Hey Facebook Family and Friends!!!! It’s that time of year again. As you ALL should know my birthday 🎉🎂🎊🎈is coming up (July 6th). I am continuing my healing journey ❤️‍🩹🙏🏿🧎🏾‍♀️and I want to spend this birthday again doing something to uplift and guide me……and I need y’all’s help.
📣📣The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is having there 47th Annual National Conference in New Orleans 📣📣
With y’all’s help I was able to go last year and it was amazing. The TCF's National Conference is an enriching and supportive event for many newer and long-time bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings. 💓 I would love to go again this year but I need a little help.
All I’m asking for my birthday is help with the registration fees, hotel, and airfare. All donations are appreciated!!!!

2022 Young Farmer Grant Program!

Applications are open for the 2022 Young Farmer Grant Program until January 28 at 3pm ET!

Young Farmer Grants are a unique funding opportunity designed to meet your varied needs as young farmers and ranchers! In the Spring of 2022, 50 young farmers and ranchers will each receive $5,000 to support their farming dreams. This funding can support on-farm costs that will help you get closer to your goals, or contribute to off-farm needs like childcare, debt, and housing costs that directly impact your ability to farm how you'd like.

You can also use this funding to start up a new operation! For our 2022 program, forty-five awards will go to businesses already in operation, and five to projects starting in 2022. Our grant program is available to support farmers and ranchers in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, in addition to the 50 states and Washington, D.C.

These grants are available to farmers of all races and gender identities. To ensure that our grants are contributing to ending inequity in access to agricultural careers, we commit to providing a minimum of 50% of our grants to Black, Indigenous, and other people of color (BIPOC), and 50% of grants to female-identifying, non-binary, and trans farmers. These are not mutually exclusive identity categories and should not be understood as adding up to 100% of available grants.
