What do bees need to survive?
OPTIMAL HIVE PLACEMENT
• Place your hive where it gets morning sun and afternoon shade.
• Ensure good airflow around the hive and protect it from strong winds.
• Keep the entrance facing east or southeast to catch the morning sun.
BEE-FRIENDLY PLANTS
• Plant a variety of blooms for a continuous nectar and pollen supply.
• Top choices: Lavender, Sunflowers, Clover, Dandelions, and Fruit Trees.
• Avoid using hybrid plants that may not produce much nectar.
WATER & SAFE ENVIRONMENT
• Provide a shallow water source with pebbles for bees to land on safely.
• Maintain a pesticide-free environment to protect bee health.
• Opt for organic gardening practices and avoid harmful chemicals.
