Dear Mom,
You would be so proud of me. Back when you struggled financially to keep me on the back of a horse you did the right thing. You knew it would put me on the right track, keep me out of trouble, and give me a foundation of skills that would shape my life. Thank you for this.
You would be so proud of me. The world of horses has given me a life that you would never have expected. I’m blessed with friends that have lasted through the years of ups and downs. I have developed a tribe that has bonded over our love of horses and I know you worried that would never happen to your awkward little girl. Well it did. And you’d be so proud of our friendships and our adventures together. These friendships have taken me all over the country and even many places around the world. Thank you for this.
You would be so proud of me, Mom. Horses have remained my life. I continue to learn every single day about these amazing animals. I’ve loved harder than I ever thought possible. I’ve grieved harder than I ever knew I could. I remain physically fit and healthy due to my life with horses. I am mentally healthy as well. I feel blessed to be me and where I am in this world. Thank you for this.
I miss you, Mom. I hope you see all of this from Heaven and are so proud of me. Thank you for this.
