We have Mangalitsa piglets available again! We are passionate about our Mangalitsa pigs! We believe that Mangalitsas are the most incredible breed of pig in the world! They have great dispositions, wonderful personalities, and they make great mothers. We have been raising this pig breed on our small farm for over 8 years and would never choose any other breed.

The Mangalitsa is actually regarded as a super heritage breed and is considered a lard pig. Not only is the lard AMAZING and very versatile, but the meat is considered the tastiest pork in the world, often being called the "Kobe beef of pork". The meat of the Mangalitsa is reddish, highly marbled with creamy white fat, and is high in omega-3 fatty acids, natural antioxidants, and an abundance of vitamin D.

We raise our pigs primarily on their own small pasture where they forage for their food. We also supplement their diet with garden produce, raw milk from our cows, hay, and grain. We also do NOT vaccinate or give antibiotics or growth hormones.

These piglets were born on June 29th and should be ready to go to their new home between now and preferably August 7th. We will be moving to a new farm, and although my children have fallen in love with these piglets, I really don’t want to be moving a bunch of piglets. We have great lineage on these piglets, and if a person wanted to register them, then they shouldn’t have a problem. They would also make phenomenal breeding stock. We will be castrating later this week, so if you are looking for a boar, let me know as soon as possible. We currently have gilts, boars, and soon to be barrows available. I am asking $200/piglet which is the lowest price I have asked in 4 years. We are currently located 17 miles east of Detroit Lakes, MN. (pictures taken a couple weeks ago)

I have a lot to say about the incredible journey that God takes you on when you trust in His plans. But for now, I will just say that four years ago we bought an Amish farmstead. What followed was not just a renovation project but a journey of faith, perseverance, and transformation.
The process of restoring the farmstead was intense. From the early days of planning to the countless hours of hands-on work, each step brought new lessons and deepened our trust God’s plans. The experience was a blend of honoring tradition and embracing modern needs.
Now, as the renovations are complete, we find ourselves reflecting on this wild journey. With the closing of this chapter, we are excited and ready for the next adventure that the Lord has for us.
Check out the listing in the comment section.

We have Mangalitsa piglets available again! We love our Mangalitsa pigs! What are Mangalitsas you may ask? Mangalitsas, in our humble opinion, are the most incredible breed of pig in the world!

We raise our pigs during the spring, summer, and fall primarily on their own pasture where they forage for their food. We also supplement their diet with garden produce, raw milk from our cows, hay, and grain. We also do NOT vaccinate or give antibiotics or growth hormones.

With this current litter, we still have 3 gilts left (a red, and 2 Swallowbellies). If I can get my act together, the parents will all be registered this summer (and so these piglets would be registerable too). We are located 17 miles east of Detroit Lakes, MN. (The first 3 pictures are of our current litter, and the next 3 are of other litters/pigs.)
