Unsure on an easy hearty meal that feeds the whole family and only takes one skillet?

1-2 lbs north fork ranch ground lamb
1-2 squash/sweet potato
North fork ranch cooking tallow
Cheese of your choice

Chop all squash into cubes and season with olive oil and seasoning. Bake in the oven until tender at 400

In a skillet or oven safe pan melt tablespoon of cooking tallow and brown all the ground lamb

Season to your liking then add squash to the pan and mix together add additional seasoning

Grade choice of cheese over the top of the whole skillet and put into oven until cheese is fully melted

Serve by itself or over rice

Makes the BEST left overs too!

🎭 LOCAL CASTING CALL: HAUNTED HAYRIDE NARRATORS! 🎃

North Fork Ranch is looking for 4–5 amazing, dependable storytellers for our Halloween Haunted Hayride on Saturday, October 24—one night only!

Calling local actors, drama enthusiasts, and anyone who can make a story feel real. Our narrators are the heart of this experience—riding aboard the hay wagons, drawing guests into the mystery, and making them believe something terrifying has happened at the ranch.

We need expressive voices, dramatic timing, confidence, and the ability to stay in character. Dependability is essential. Guests and your fellow performers will be counting on you!
