Bennett's Creek Farm is pleased to welcome Ryan Wood this Wednesday afternoon 9/29 for a jumping clinic. We have one or two places available for a final tuneup ahead of Maryland Horse Trials - just send a note to Rose at [email protected].

Bennett's Creek Farm is pleased to host 5* riders Ryan Wood and Kate Chadderton for December clinics!
Ryan will join us Friday December 6th for an afternoon of lessons, and Kate will join us Friday, December 20!
We will have courses set up for all levels in both our indoor and outdoor rings, so no need to worry about inclement weather or cold temperatures.

Trainer Rose Agard started Area II showing off with a win on Mary Perry's Cosimo at the Loch Moy Derby Cross! We welcome back Amanda Braun's Commando from his trip to Aiken where he also scored a first place ribbon at Pine Top with Caitlin Silliman in the tack!

The course is set for our clinic with Ryan Wood tomorrow! The chilly weather will keep us indoors but the propane heater is ready for our guests!
Craig Haynes has outdone himself, classing up the jumps for our Ryan Wood clinic this weekend, which is fully booked. Look forward to a fun weekend at the farm!
Looking forward to our clinic on December 10th with Ryan Wood, auditors are welcome to attend free of charge to see Ryan work with our boarders and guests - we will be set up indoors and outside regardless of the weather. Such a pleasure to have a rider ranked 4th overall in the USA come share his knowledge of the sport!

Annual Bennett's Creek Farm pumpkin carving contest! You judge the winner!
Amanda Braun's Commando made a strong showing this weekend at the Five Year Old East Coast Event Horse Championship, finishing 11th in a field of 30+ horses, all of which were required to qualify during the season. With Rose Agard in the irons, Commando put in three solid phases against a strong field of imported and purpose-bred horses with largely professional riders. We are very proud of Amanda and Rose's dedication through the year to prepare Cody for this successful outing, and look forward to what the future holds for this horse and team!
Mary Perry and Cosimo also had a great run at MHT Starter this weekend, finishing in second place on her dressage score of 22!!!!
Next week will feature none other than Ryan Wood giving Fernhill Flame a run at Waredaca in the Training division and Sherry Stephenson with Murray also in Training. I will have the always predictable RF Cosmos going Sunday at Novice to see if we can improve our position of 4th on the USEA leaderboard.

The Derby has dawned, and we've got the results of the Training Days to share. The heat is brutal and the day's are long - who do we reckon has got what it takes to win? It's madness to make Derby predictions on Day 1 but that won't stop us speculating:

Woodstock Bennett and Ryan finished 16th in a field of 55 Advanced horses this weekend at Millbrook - Ryan conserved his gallop and took some time faults. Fitting because 16 is what he scored as a Novice horse in dressage when he won Novice horse of the year a few years ago. So proud of this horse and how Ryan has developed him, what a great partnership.
Both DDAY and Bennett finished Pine Top Intermediate with clear jumping rounds with Ryan. Always amazed at how Ryan makes such difficult obstacles look easy, here is the proof! Note the BCF Bonnetts have so far produced no rails!
