Two Hills Farm Hi! I'm Jami. My partner Dave and I started Two Hills Farm in 2022 shortly after moving to Frederick from NYC.

We are a small flower farm offering specialty seasonal cut flowers to florists, a CSA flower share, DIY event buckets and wholesale. Catch us at vintage and design markets throughout the season for pre-wrapped bouquets!

Lisianthus season in full swing here at the farm! Field grown Super Magic Apricot, Chateau Blue & Arena Apricot going strong and looking fab in the bouquets for this weekend!!! Just when you think you can’t go on in the relentless heat of July, we are rewarded w these stunning beauties. excited for the successive planting from the Lisi’s we grew from seed!

Big day today! New cultivator attachment helped us get the dahlia patch in shape. I wound up weeding all of the rows, and didn’t have to lift the t posts - was able to work the soil into nice flat beds rather than the jagged clay mess the were after last season’s dahlia dig. This would have taken twice the time and back breaking work to hand cultivate w the stirrup how and a rake. After Dave walked me through it, I was able to complete the project all on my own- which frees Dave up to get some other big tasks accomplished.
I think I’ll with buckwheat until we are ready to go in w dahlias! Lmk if you have any experience w buckwheat as a cover crop!

Third round of seed sowing today! Got sweet peas and three trays of Lisianthus sown today!! These girlies need that sweet ! Dave made the best Old Fashioned this evening and I have started re-listening to Throne of Glass. Despite the drop ceiling being removed in our basement (aka seedling land and flower studio)- ty to Dave’s parents for their amazing work- the show must go on! Excited for all of the new season possibilities.

We are booking up for spring events!! Feeling grateful to be a part of your special moments and everything in between!
