We have BABIES!!! She tricked us and started this afternoon while B was at Lowes. Mom & babies are doing well! So far 11 newbies & holding! Two are very small, so we’ll see how it goes. No placenta yet, so lets hope no more than 14 because that’s all the t***s she’s got!

Charolette is in full nesting mode now. Shouldn’t be long before we have a fresh litter of babies!

Who’s ready to put in their order for a half (or whole) hog? This litter is growing crazy fast and will be ready for your freezer before you know it!!

!!PORK SHARES FEBRUARY 2026!!

We have 8 hogs available for either whole, or half shares with a processing date of Mid Feb 2026 (will post solid date when it gets closer). They should weigh about 250-300lbs live weight for a whole share, or 125-150lbs for half shares. Obviously each pig is different, so they could be slightly more or less. All cuts are vacuum sealed and flash frozen to ensure they are great when you're ready to thaw and eat. Price is $5.50 per pound of live weight which includes all standard processing fees and everything. There are some "extras" that you can opt for on your cut sheet, but we can handle those as they come. Typically, with a 300lb live weight, it puts about 180lbs in your freezer, which works out to just about $9.16 a pound. Yes, the local grocery
store is likely a little cheaper, but it's a VERY different product. Anyonewho has bought farm fresh meat can attest to the fact that you're getting a MUCH better quality. Not to mention supporting small/local businesses. 😉

Anyway, If you're interested in purchasing a share, send us a message here and we’ll get the ball rolling. We're taking deposits of $500 per half, with the rest of the balance due at pickup when we know what the full weight ends up at. If you'd prefer a smaller (or larger) hog, just let us know so when the day comes, we can try and align who wants what. When you send your deposit, I'll get you a cut sheet sent over for you to fill out so you can make sure you get exactly what you want.

Why haven’t we been getting eggs for the past two weeks? Figured that out today: They’ve been laying in one comfy spot in the shop & taking turns sitting on them!! Little creeps! No more babies! We’re all filled up here! No vacancies! 41 eggs!! 41!
