Some of you may see a framed photo of this artist if youve ever had a reading by me.

This is Pamela Colman Smith aka “Pixie”. She was a British occultist and artist (like me!) and born 100 years to the day of my own birth (February 16th, 1878).

She created all the art for the Rider/Smith tarot. Filled with color, expression, and symbology.

She is also my muse and inspiration!

I will be home today actively recharging from a full day yesterday. But I will be back at Madame Oddities next Sunday October 11th 1-4pm.

I have yet to figure out how to more quickly recharge after tarot events! If I could, I’d do them every day but that’s just not how it works for me yet. It’s almost like I need to gingerly disconnect from all the connections I make and it takes at least 24 hours or so.

Today I feel drained, happily exhausted, maybe a little dehydrated, and stoic thinking of all the people I connected with yesterday.

Today’s theme: the lovers reversed!

While this card is in fact about love…it may not be what you think. Especially in reverse!

Lovers is more about choice. About choosing who you connect with or choose who to disconnect with. Do I go or do I stay?

The lovers card in reverse is saying…you might be past due on making a final choice. Sit and assess. What are your values? How do you receive love? Do you prefer stability over passion?

This might come up if the client has inner turmoil and a torn kinda feeling on to proceed with a relationship or to leave. This card doesn’t give you the answer….it encourages to assess, journal, pick apart and then choose…and commit to the choice.

If the relationship has issues, and you choose to stay….then commit to it with all the warts and moles.

If the relationship has issues, and you decide to leave because it no longer serves…start making plans to move along.

The old me would’ve panicked when I got to my tarot gig and realized I’d left the house without my entire bag of tarot decks….

Instead I stopped, breathed in and trusted…

I literally opened my eyes to the solution. An entire section of oracle and tarot decks to purchase in Madame Oddities shop!

I got two but this one has become one of my faves to work with.
