Lot 8 — Tag H116

This guy has been an interesting creature ever since we took the wool off him. There’s not a rounder ribbed, shallower chested option in the sale. Still green with plenty of runway left, and one that’s probably better suited for an older showman that can get his long spine gathered up correctly.

We only kept one sheep out of this set for Brodie… and Lot 8 was definitely in contention.

What a way to start the sale.

I’ve had a lot of people concerned about showing fall lambs, but the right ones can go all the way through the spring with a solid exercise program and Lot 1 is the right one.

Cool in the pen or propped up, he’s built with the kind of pieces that consistently get in the hunt. One of my favorites in the set.
