We Have Full Care Boarding Options Available

Our farm is located in a beautiful area of north Lebanon county. We offer 12x12 matted stalls with Dutch doors for ventilation, wash stall, a large 120’x250’ outdoor arena, round pen, access to open fields, and a hollow with a creek for short trail rides. Large grass pastures offer plenty of space for turn out with automatic waterers and small dry lot areas are available when needed.

Adelyn currently has an opening and could take on another child that would like to learn. Her current student is now at a level where they ride together and she loves to share her passion with others.

This guy is super SPECIAL! Watch his video-he does anything asked of him!

Flashy, gentle and safe and definitely everyone’s favorite babysitter. This gorgeous, five year old, 40" gelding, has plenty of chrome and is sweet as they come. This guy absolutely adores the littles, patient all day long for them to groom, tack and love on him. Flash will meet you at the gate every morning just waiting for affection. Small children can ride him and he loves to take care of them, won’t give more speed than is asked, but can carry a lope and be fun when asked. He has calmly taken his young riders into an open warm up pen at barrel races, trail rode through creeks, trotted next to fire trucks in a parade, and even got after cows to help with roping practice. He is the perfect pony for a young rider to learn the basics while having fun and is happy to be a babysitter. He also knows how to drive and loves it! This guy is the perfect first pony! Have a young child with a love for horses and not sure where to start? MountainStead Farm is now offering Horsemanship 101 with Adelyn. These are sessions for beginners who would like to learn about horses through fun sessions with an experienced youth. Adelyn was a 2020 All Around Youth Rodeo Champion and a 2023 Youth Rodeo Barrel and Pole Bending Champion.

These sessions will include basics of caring for a horse by assisting with age appropriate barn chores, leading, grooming, and tacking up the horses, and an intro to riding horses. Perfect for a young child with a love for horses who wants to experience farm life from the perspective of an ambitious, horse loving, ten year old girl who is trying to earn money to save up for her next rodeo horse. Adelyn has given these style lessons for the past year to an eight year old girl and she feels confident that she is ready to expand with more sessions.

Chuck and Roast are heading to the butcher at the end of October and will be delivered to freezers early November. We will sell it in 1/4 sections at 4.95/lb hanging weight plus $0.95/ processing fee. Thank you to our repeat customers who already reserved theirs which means we only have two quarters remaining!
