This year at Pruett’s Meat Processing, we’re striving to help promote Share the Harvest and give back to families in our community.

🎯 Our goal is to have 30 deer donated with the help of our hunters and customers!

❤️ The best part? Donating a deer to Share the Harvest is completely FREE to you as the hunter! There is no processing cost to you for a donated deer.

We’re also doing a few giveaways throughout the season as we reach our donation milestones!

You can donate your deer anytime throughout the 2026 deer season, and every donation helps us get closer to our goal.

🏆 TWO YEARS IN A ROW — GRAND CHAMPION! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to share that Pruett’s Meat Processing has taken Grand Champion in the Cured Ham Competition at the St. Francois County fair for TWO years in a row! 🐷🥇

A huge congratulations and thank you to Steven, who’s brought home the Grand Champion title with a ham cured right here at Pruett’s Meat Processing two years running!

One of our favorite parts of what we do is having young clients like Stephen in our shop and giving them the opportunity to learn about the bacon and ham curing process from start to finish. Passing along these skills and traditions to the next generation is something we truly enjoy.

We are so thankful for all of our customers who continue to trust and support our small family business. And Steven… we might just have to go for THREE IN A ROW next year! 🏆🏆🏆

Last Monday, we had a great group of participants from the St. Francois County Fair stop by the shop to have their hams and bacon cured and smoked for the fair competition.

We’re honored they trusted us to be a small part of their hard work, and we can’t wait to see how everyone does at the fair! Best of luck!—we’ll be cheering you on! 🥓🏆🐖

🇺🇸🎗️Come out and support Relay For Life today at the Middle School from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pruett’s Meat Processing is proud to sponsor as we help raise awareness and support the fight against cancer. 🎗️🇺🇸

This event is especially meaningful to our family as we participate in honor of Joey “Fuzzy” Pruett. We miss him every day, and we’re proud to carry on his spirit of generosity and community service.

❤️ Join us as we celebrate survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and continue fighting for a cure.

Friendly reminder from Pruett’s Processing:
We’ve officially wrapped up deer season 🎉 All custom cut orders are finished, and all sausage, snack sticks, and sweet bologna are made and ready for pickup.

Please make plans to pick up your deer within the next week, as we’ll be cleaning out our coolers and freezers to transition back to our regular butchering schedule.

Reminder we do not have regular scheduled business hours outside of deer season, so you’ll need to call the shop 573-783-1556 to schedule a pick up appointment. We try our best to accommodate you at your times, but please be courteous.
