Yes, and to every farmer protecting, feeding and loving their animals❤️.

While many of us stay indoors, wrapped in warmth and safety, there are people who step out into the storm.
They face freezing winds, blinding snow, and dangerous conditions — not because they want to, but because others need them.

To the police, firefighters, EMS, nurses, and National Guard — thank you.
Thank you for showing up when fear is high and help is urgently needed. Thank you for being calm in chaos and steady when everything feels uncertain.

To emergency management teams, linemen, and plow operators — thank you.
Thank you for long hours, cold hands, exhausted bodies, and work that often goes unnoticed. You keep roads passable, lights on, and communities connected when winter tries to shut everything down.

Your jobs don’t pause for weather.
Storms don’t wait, and emergencies don’t reschedule. Yet you still answer the call, knowing the risks, carrying responsibility heavier than the snow itself.

Behind every cleared road, restored power line, and lifesaving response is sacrifice.
Time away from family. Sleepless nights. And the courage to move toward danger while others move away.

This winter storm reminds us of something important.
That heroes don’t always wear capes — sometimes they wear uniforms, heavy boots, helmets, gloves, and tired smiles hidden behind the cold.
