Glass House Winery is a boutique winery in the heart of the Monticello Wine Trail in central Virginia. We craft artisan wines made from grapes grown on our property and in our region. With 15 acres under vine, we have chosen grapes that bring out the best of the terroir in our region. We cultivate these grapes with meticulous care, while striving to treat the Earth as respectfully and gently as po

ssible in the process. With a tropical flair, artisan wines and chocolates, and a very distinctive setting, Glass House is a one-of-a-kind winery. We offer estate wines, blends, a very unique chocolate wine and Glass House Winery’s own brand of handmade chocolates. It's sure to be a fantastic Sunday Fun Day here in the tropics of Free Union with Rusty Speidel and Tom Goodrich entertaining all with their awesome rock and Americana tunes. The duo make up half of Speidel, Goodrich, Goggin and Lille (SGGL), the band that got its start on the campus of UVA in the early 80's, and have been wowing their audiences ever since! We are thrilled to welcome Rick Goodling and Friends making their debut appearance here at Glass House Winery and Brewery. Featuring a well rounded musical trio, led by Rick Goodling (of Handsome Raccoon), delivering nearly 60 years of guitar expertise built on a diverse background in classical piano, brass, and jazz bass. Joining Rick for this evening will be Ron Lewis (Handsome Raccoon) on harmonica and congas, and accomplished guitarist Jim Vitt. The group performs a dynamic, soulful blend of Americana, country, and rock. Heavy on Rick Goodling originals mixed with familiar covers, drawing influences from Justin Townes Earle, Steve Earle, Bob Dylan and Bluegrass. Saturday, August 22nd, from 5 to 8pm. No cover.
