Our little egg gatherer...well, one of them! So nice having many eggs coming in every day now. We had 3 buckets of eggs preserved with hydrated lime and we used all of them this past Winter...time to preserve more for next year!

Why goats milk soap?
The goats milk is a natural moisturizer, and is easily absorbed into the skin. It doesn't dry your skin out like other soaps. It also has alpha-hydroxy acids that help remove dead skin cells and is great for skin conditions such as eczema, sensitive skin, and acne.

It's what we use everyday on our homestead, at the sink and in the shower.

It's starting to feel like Spring here in Maine. Snow is melting, our basement and roof are leaking, and we are planning this years season. For Angora bunnies this year, we're planning to breed 2 does in May. It's best to breed two does at the same time, in case of needing to foster the babies with the other dam (mom). These buns will be wonderful fiber producers, great for spinning. Keep us in mind if you're looking for a fiber friend this Summer, as we should have them available. (Photos of some of last years cuties)

Egg production is picking up!! We are so excited for this growing season. Stay tuned for coming updates! We will be offering eggs for eating and hatching, and if all goes well we will have chicks available. We are also starting a pre-order list for Angora Rabbit kits. They will be ready to go in June, if all goes accordingly.
