Baking classes cover hands on flour milling, bread baking and nutritional facts of whole grains in a relaxed and fun atmosphere in a real farm wife kitchen!

Had a great time on the farm today!!!
Beautiful sunrise, we had a group of kids in today to take a Farm Tour! We milled flour and learned about Whole Grains, sampled Whole Grain Breads and Gluten Free Cookies! Took a Hay Ride to the Wheat Field, the Grain Bin and barns.
Finished it off with Whole Grain Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!

Spring is trying to get here!!!! It has been a long Winter here at Freedom Farms Inc..
I've been laid up with a torn ligament in my left knee and an ugly case of Tennis Elbow in my right arm. So not much baking with my arm being in the shape it was. I'm slowly healing and getting ready to get back in the kitchen! I have read a lot of cook books over the winter, have some new recipes to try!
I'm trying to get some classes schedule as my arm heals. Please contact me if you would like to schedule a class. You and three of your friends or family is a class.

**************FARM TOUR INFOMATION**************

We are taking Reservations for Farm Tours for our young people. Starting April is when the tours start, if you have a group; Home School, Public School, Christian School, Inner City or Rural, contact us to schedule a tour.

EXAMPLE OF TOURS; Hay Rides to Grain Fields, Flour Milling and sampling food made from locally grown grains. Tasting of Whole Grain and Gluten-Free cookies that taste REALLY GOOD! Demonstrating the differences in flours, what is Whole Grain, Gluten-Free and All Purpose Flour, why we have different flours.

If you know of a teacher or parent that belongs to a co-op please share this info with them..

I thought I would share a baking tip today...
When trying to put a pie in the oven without spilling the custard all over the place. Hum or whistle while traveling between counter to oven. I whistle Bridge Over River Quiae... LOL
