We are seeking a part-time barn assistant to join our team in Freehold, NY. The ideal candidate must be available to work weekends, possess the ability to work independently, and have experience handling young horses. Responsibilities include feeding, stall maintenance, turnout/in, grooming, tack cleaning, and general barn upkeep. 📣 WE ARE HIRING📣

Looking for a motivated individual to work 2-3 shifts per week (3-4 hour shift blocks) at $17-20/hr (rate dependent upon experience, and wages re-evaluated after first 90 days). Job duties include care for 5-6 horses, including but not limited to -

🐴 Turnout/turn in
🐴 Stall cleaning
🐴 Feeding/watering
🐴 Cleaning tack
🐴 Blanket changes
🐴 Grooming
🐴 General barn clean up

There will be opportunities to pick up more hours as the spring/summer and vacation times. For more experienced candidates ~ opportunities for working the horses can be explored.

Location: Freehold, NY

**Candidates must have reliable transportation, be available to work during the day with the occasional weekend shift, lift 50lb bags, and be able to handle younger horses whom are still learning**
