Malibu had triplet bucks last night around 11pm. Boo on the boy-count, but it all went just fine and I’m so glad for that! It’s so nice today that they got to come outside for a bit.

It’s going to be an abbreviated kidding season here this year. After all those c-sections last year and sad things in our family I almost didn’t breed any goats. But the kids wanted kids. So….Dancer and Malibu will be kidding soon. Malibu is a FF and, if anything like her mom, will be going early. Maybe the next day or two. Dancer overachieved with quints last year. I’m okay if she’s a little less prolific this year!

Yesterday Callisto and her twin girls got to come home from New Bolton. Today Cece kidded with triplets, two big does and a smaller buck. And that’s a wrap for this insane kidding season!! Totals were 14 kids (8 does and 6 bucks). I’ll get pictures up soon and reach out to people on the reservation list. I’ll also be selling a few adults this year because.... I think I need a break!

In other news, Callisto had a c-section last night. Both twins (does) survived and are doing well. No pics yet. They should come home tomorrow.
