Sunday morning we woke up and did morning chores, as part of the morning routine we have been checking Tenleys ligaments (this is one of the first signs of pre labor in goats). Her left ligament was gone and the right was getting soft. By noon both ligaments were gone and she had began nesting. We spent the day outside planting the garden, clearing brush and finishing last minute changes in the goat pen. At 4:30 Tenley appeared to start having contractions and by 5:00 she was starting to push. First baby came out at 5:08. It was amazing and overwhelming all at once. We worked quickly to get the airways clear and baby dried off. We waited and wondered assuming there was more. Tenley was calm and diligently cleaning baby #1. Then she began to push and baby number #2 came out, by the time we had baby #2 on the towel baby #3 was out as well all by 5:20. 3 beautiful and uniquely colored boys.

It was a rush of emotions and adrenaline but we couldn't have asked for a smoother 1st kidding. Tenley is a great mom and all the boys are healthy and happy

We must also highlight the other gals here. The goats may get a lot of attention, but these ladies sure don't let us forget them.

Happy Birthday Tenley!🎉🥳 The sweetest gal around❤️🩷 She appreciates every single scratch. We also hope she gives birth in a couple days! Happy spring to all!
