Salt Creek is a small winery established in 2010 and located in the scenic hills of Southern Indiana overlooking the Salt Creek valley.

WINTER HOURS: January and February
Saturdays 11:00am until 5:00pm

SUMMER HOURS: March through December
Saturdays 11:00am until 5:00pm
Sundays Noon until 5:00pm

Phone: (812 ) 497-0254 We specialize in minimally processed, naturally aged, fruit and grape wines with as little mechanical filtering as possible. We have a beautiful view of the Salt Creek Valley from our covered patio.

This week’s Wine of the Week is one of our most popular sweet wines, Blood Orange! This deliciously fresh and vibrant wine is characterized by natural Blood Orange flavors that are refreshingly crisp, lively and well-balanced. It’s perfect to enjoy with a light salad and seafood dishes. You will have to try it for yourself to see how amazing this wine is. Stop on by our Nashville location during the week or weekend or Freetown during the weekend to give it a shot! 🍷 🍊

Our wine of the week for this week is one of our dry, red wines, Merlot! Our Merlot is made from American grown Merlot grapes and aged with American and French oak. This deep red, medium bodied dry wine has hints of black cherry and currant. It pairs with steak, lamb and red sauce pasta dishes.
We are discontinuing our Merlot so if you haven’t had a chance to try it stop by either of our locations to give it a taste. There are limited quantities remaining so if this is already one of your favorites don’t miss out on the opportunity to grab some bottles before it’s all gone. 🍷

Today’s weather is supposed to be very hot! We have the perfect drinks to cool you down. Enjoy a chilled glass of wine or one of our delicious wine slushies! We offer indoor seating with air conditioning as well so you can relax with your wine and cool off. Or if you want to brave the heat as you walk around Nashville, we have our wine slushies available to go!

Our wine of the week this time is another one of our sweet wines, Catawba! Our Catawba wine is a beautiful, refreshing grape wine, bursting with the flavor and aroma of America’s native Catawba grape. There is a slight “lemonade-like” tartness with a robust native grape flavor and a light body. This fan favorite is a must try so if you haven’t had a chance to, stop on by either of our locations for a sample!🍷

Our wine of the week is another one of our dry wines, Cabernet Sauvignon! This classic Cabernet Sauvignon is aged with oak and has hints of blackcurrant, plum and licorice. It pairs with red meats, lamb, red pasta dishes and dark chocolate. Perfect with your meal and dessert after as well! You must give this one a try so stop on by!🍷

Today is the start of some construction in front of our Nashville tasting room. The tasting room will be accessible by foot only as the road in front of us will be closed for the movement of equipment and materials in and out. Our hours will be the same while this is happening, so don’t let this stop you from coming over to enjoy some wine!
