This photo about sums up the last few weeks of life on the farm. No, this is not smoke! This warm air is from the body heat of all the girls inside of this barn. It rises up and out of the chimneys, and then looks like steam as it hits the single digits of the outside temperature. We are grateful of all the extra work our team put in to get through a challanging winter thus far, and are in the middle of enjoying this 40 degree heat wave! ☀️🔥

The sun is finally setting on our 2025 construction projects. Expanding our bunks, wet calf facilities, and transition calf facilities now sets the stage for the main event starting this upcoming spring. All in all each project went well, providing us with a small sample of what's to come. Cheers everybody to 2026 and beyond. 🥛🥛

Yesterday we finished our 2025 fall corn harvest and this morning we covered our final bunk. This small 2.5 acre corn field was one of our final fields of the season. 2025 will be the last year this piece of land will provide us with any forage for our animals. Going forward, those acres will now be used to hold up an 80 stall rotary milking facility and connect to a 12 row free stall barn.

The land which was once a measly little corn field will now be the nucleus of our entire operation.
