Nothing like a wood fired meal sizzling away! Beef, sheep and chickens aren’t all we harvest. Just can’t sell the venison…

Meet Farmer Nate! Nate is the Resident Radiculous 🤣 and relentless dreamer of possibilities. He brings joy to the most intense situations, is an excellent problem solver and has a tender shepherds heart.

Favorite Hobbies: “Living that old world way of life whereby the sweat of my brow and the skill of my hand I’m putting food on the table; be it from a pasture, garden, boat, tree stand or foraging the forest, I enjoy finding sustenance in the opportunities all around us.”

Favorite Chore: “Any chores I can do with my children especially to do with lambing season.”

Favorite part of farm life: “Riding my wild stallion - also known as a 2005 Polaris ATV while humming the “Andy Griffith Theme Song” to do chores and being able to share life on the farm with my family and dear friends.”

From one day to the next 🙌🏽 Rotational grazing at its finest. So many benefits for the land when being able to move your herd in smaller paddocks each day. Makes for one pretty neat picture too 🤠

Our cows get to enjoy the woods for only a week or two a year so we don’t have overgrazing. I know the woods love the company as the cattle do many great things in a short period of time. We love watching them enjoy the shade as well as they usually spend most of their time throughout the season on open pasture. Timing is everything….Farmer B 🤠 got to share the moment this year and the herd was very welcoming 🥰. It’s a pretty amazing place out here I must say 🌳 🌲 🌳 🌲
