We are a small family farm, growing a variety of produce using sustainable and regenerative farming practices.

We also offer a wide range if pasture raised meats including chicken, lamb, beef and pork. Davis Family Farms is a multi-generational Farm serving the people of North Carolina, located at 2239 Davis Mill Rd, Fremont, NC 27830. We began our business and way of life in agriculture in the year 1776, the first Davis family member fell in love with the land. Since then, we’ve been through many changes and have become a major landmark for visitors of the region. Recently, we were recognized by the NC State Agriculture Department as an official Bi-Centennial farm. Our chickens are allowed to roam free. Each afternoon where they scratch and forage and just do the things chickens do and wet the things chickens are made to eat.

All this allows them to produce extremely nutritious and delicious eggs with that dark yellow yoke.

So do them and yourself a favor. Stop by the farm next Saturday and pickup a mess of fresh green beans or unshelled peas, head over to your mama’s house, or maybe even your grandma’s house, cut the tv off and just sit and snap beans or shell peas.

Listen to your kids talk. Listen to your mama or grandma talk. Get the older adults to tell stories about their life, their faith and what they remember about their mamas.

Don’t just do this once. Do it often.

It will be a memory you will treasure for life.

🎃🚜 Pumpkins have been picked and the wagon is all ready for anyone who wants to ride to the pumpkin patch tomorrow and pick out their very own pumpkin.

- $5/person for the wagon ride, to include a small pumpkin

- Pumpkins at farm stand are priced to sale. $6,$5, $4 and $3

- ALL mums are $5

All pumpkins were grown right here in our farm

We know tomorrow afternoons Fall Festival has been cancelled and it’s likely going to be a wet afternoon, so come on out on the morning and let’s all make the best of it.
