Snow on the Greenhouse marks a shift.
The field trip season comes to a close and the winter work on the farm begins: rebuilding compost piles, deepening beds, and preparing soil for the Spring ahead.
Our gratitude is endless towards every group that made a visit to the Worm Farm this year. Sharing our passion for reducing waste, reusing resources and recycling with purpose is at the heart of what we do.
Each visit is a reminder of why this work matters. When children and adults alike connect the dots between food waste, soil health, and environmental responsibility, the impact is real and lasting. Moments like these make us hopeful for the future and reaffirm the power of hands on education.
To our 2025 Educational Program Participants- Thank You for your time and willingness to experience the Farm.
We’re excited to continue this work as
we open bookings for our
2026 Living Soil Greenhouse Tours.

And to our Food Loop Partners,
Our Local Businesses and Organizations committed to keeping organic waste out of landfills, this work wouldn’t be possible without you!
Because of the shared effort, we are on track to have repurposed 200,000 pounds of food waste this year alone! Hats off to your partnership and know that together we ARE making a difference.
