Our corn maze, hay rides and pumpkin patch are BACK for the 2023 season! Come join us at the farm for some extra fall fun. 🚜🎃🌽

Opening day is Saturday, Oct 7th, 2023 🍂

Corn Maze/Hay Ride/Pumpkin Patch Hours:
11 AM-6 PM on Saturdays and Sundays

Ticket prices:
Adult (13 yrs+) $10
Kids (12 and under) $7

Ticket entry includes hay ride and corn maze. All pumpkins, gourds, other fall decor, produce and food items are additional purchases.

Pumpkin prices vary by size! If just going to the farm for the pumpkin patch only, ticket is not necessary for entry to just pick and buy pumpkins.

Located in Rock Cave, Upshur County. 2 miles passing the WV Wildlife Center (game farm) if you’re coming from Buckhannon. It is the very first turn to the left passing the Rock Cave Elementary School.
*Look up “Green Acres Farm Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch” on Google Maps give very good directions as well.*

We are still actively looking for the escaped inmate who ran off from a work release detail at the forest festival office yesterday. He was wearing tan pants and a white t shirt when last scene. Denver Bennett is a native of Randolph County and knows the area well. He is a woodsman type and very elusive in the forest setting. He may have changed clothes by now. If you think you have a sighting on Bennett, do not approach him. Contact 911 and give thorough details and directions to the dispatcher. Clothing description would also be helpful. A photo if you can get one would also be helpful. We will respond to the area as quickly as possible. We need your help to be vigilant and to call in immediately if you think you may have saw him. Calling two hours after your sighting won’t be helpful to catch Bennett. Please be watchful and lock your cars and homes. Monitor you home camera alerts as he may pass through your property and be caught on camera. Stay safe. Sheriff Rob Elbon

Creating Family Memories

As a family-oriented Christmas Tree Farm we have been helping families create those special memories for 30+ years. Our family is now serving some third (3rd) generation customers with the same caring experience we have provided since the 1980’s. We also believe that our children are our future and endeavor to provide very special experiences for them at our farm. We provide each child with an educational Christmas tree coloring book and, of course, a candy cane. A special “SANTA EVENT” is scheduled for the second (2nd) Saturday in December each year from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. We hope you will bring your family and start, or continue, to create those wonderful Christmas memories. Slow down, wander through our fields, breathe the fresh air, enjoy the sound of your children’s voices, and choose that special Christmas tree for your home.

DUE TO COVID-19, WE WILL NOT BE HAVING A SANTA EVENT IN 2020. We hope to restart this event in 2021.

Last night, a group of awesome folks gathered and put together lovely arrangements for our nursing home residents in Buckhannon. The stacks of containers to fill was a bit daunting, but they worked so joyfully! Arrangements were delivered today with hopes that those who receive them feel loved.

This tree is YOUR tree, your family, neighbors and friends tree. OUR tree is being decorated with the beautiful handmade decorations of our talented and thoughtful children of the community. EVERYONE is welcome to decorate YOUR tree. We are still accepting decorations until Wednesday at 11 E Main and after that please feel free to place a decoration on YOUR tree! Oh what fun we had! As Amy stated earlier “We had SNOW ❄️ much fun!
