Rogue River Blue 💙

After 9 to 11 months of careful tending in our aging caves, each wheel is hand-wrapped in organic, biodynamic Syrah grape leaves that have soaked in pear spirits. 🍐

Rogue River Blue is recognized internationally for its groundbreaking flavors and exceptional quality. It was named World Champion at the World Cheese Awards in 2019 the only USA-made cheese to ever receive this esteemed title. More recently, it won the top honors of "Gran Cincho de Oro" at Spain's Cincho Cheese Awards (2026), and Gold at France's Mondial du Fromage (2025). 🏆

TEXTURE: Fudgy and rich, with calcium lactate crystals that develop with age

TASTE: Pear brandy, vanilla, toffee, truffle, and fig, with pronounced "blue" flavor

Harbison is a great excuse to gather a few friends and scoop into a decadent treat. When a bit younger, the bark can be peeled away for sliced portioning. If the bark has fused with a more loosened paste, then the best approach is to leave the bark intact and spoon out portions from the top. Pair with oakey white w**e, or barrel-aged sour b**r. Fruit mostarda and crusty bread make nice accompaniments.
